Black Bean Hummus

I love hummus because it’s such a great dip for my veggies, yet not as fatty and oily as things like ranch or blue cheese dressing. In moderation, it’s super good for you, not to mention so easy to make! You simply dump everything in a food processor, and it’s all good to go!

Ingredients:

-one can of black beans, rinsed and drained

-1 clove garlic

-1 tbsp olive oil

-2 tbsp lime juice

-2 tbsp tahini

-salt and pepper, to taste

Equipment/Materials:

-food processor

Directions:

1. Simply place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend together! Salt and pepper to taste and you have yourself some home-made, healthy, low-cost hummus. Use as dip for things like veggies and wheat crackers. Yum!
