Hot, buttery, and stuffed with strawberry or blackberry jam, these things are amazing. Each bite was a crumbly, soft, sweet mess in my mouth. Mmm.
So, rather than wait around for the fair to roll around and drive all the way down south to Puyallup just for a scone, I decided to make my own at home, thanks to this recipe I found online. What a nice, Saturday morning breakfast.
I added dried cranberries to mine, but feel free to make plain, or with other dried fruits.
