Fisher Scones

Ever since I was little, when my dad would take my sisters and me to the Puyallup Fair, I’ve loved scones. Not just any old scone, but the fair scones–Fisher scones, that is.

Hot, buttery, and stuffed with strawberry or blackberry jam, these things are amazing. Each bite was a crumbly, soft, sweet mess in my mouth. Mmm.

So, rather than wait around for the fair to roll around and drive all the way down south to Puyallup just for a scone, I decided to make my own at home, thanks to this recipe I found online. What a nice, Saturday morning breakfast.

I added dried cranberries to mine, but feel free to make plain, or with other dried fruits.

Yummy in my tummy.

    Hope you’ll still come down to the Puyallup to enjoy them in September! It’s our 100th anniversary this year, so we’d love it is you help us celebrate. Love, Fisher Scones!
